It is of course the children, who didn't ask to be born, who suffer. More to the point, it is also the parents' lack of planning by having numerous children that makes it worse for the children in a society already callous to the sight of streetchildren or beggarly doses of the poor asking for pity. One can't imagine the suffering of these children whose own parents think that society owes them a living.
