Hello, sir! How are you?

May I ask your thoughts about the new tourism slogan of the Department of Tourism. Does the presence of  a comma between "Love" and the "the Philippines" change the interpretation and sentiment of the slogan "Love the Philippines"?

I'm delighted to hear from you after a long while, Justine! I'm doing just fine but saddled with two big and a great many small projects all demanding immediate attention. As to the "Love the Philippines" controversy, the issue is obviously still at its boiling point. I thus think it would be prudent to defer quibbling over the slogan's debatable punctuation until things have simmered down. That way the both of us can have a pleasant and safe ahead.
