This week’s Advice and Dissent section features a Forum member’s passionate denunciation of what she calls “people who flaunt their religious fervor.” I know that this is a sore spot or at least a sensitive subject to many people, so I find it strange that not a single Forum member has responded to the posting in categorical terms, whether pro or con. Is it because we are too pious, too afraid, or too polite to take a position on matters of faith?
