The Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines is hosting “Songs of Memory,” an international conference on the preservation and interpretation of epics and ballads from various parts of the world, from January 20-22, 2011. Scholars from the Philippines, Europe, and Southeast Asia are expected to participate in the conference that will be held at the Ateneo de Manila campus in Loyola Heights, Quezon City.
