Repudiating Sarah Palin’s coinage of “refudiate”

Dictionary.com’s “Hot Word” blog came up with a very interesting critique of Sarah Palin’s use of the word “refudiate”—yes, that’s “refudiate” with an “f” instead of a “p”—in an opinion piece about a proposal to build a mosque in the vicinity of the September 11th site in the United States. The item was brought to my attention by thereader, a Forum member from whom we hadn’t heard for a very long while.
