Dearth of judges with good moral senseBy Maximo TumbaliThere’s an urgent need for the judges to straighten up their crooked or twisted notion of justice, which requires of them their good moral sense. Sadly, this is one thing sorely missing in them.
It’s rather funny, ridiculous, and paradoxical to know that the less learned can better appreciate what is just and what is not than those who are steeped in the knowledge of law.
The so called experts in the law are the ones obfuscating the people as regards the true essence and meaning of the law. Of course, they do this for a reason, i.e. to make money.
Legal technicalities inherent in the judicial system are of utmost importance to the judges. Would you wonder why?
If the one to be convicted is super-rich he can with his money avail of such technicalities to go free.
The judges thrive on legal technicalities that they can sell at unlimited prices. Hence most of them live like kings.
“Beyond reasonable doubt and preponderance of evidence,” more often abused, turn to be the two most evil judicial steps embedded in our legal procedure, judicial steps that distort the search for truth. Judges who are hungry for money would readily use them if the PRICE IS RIGHT.
If this malpractice be not stemmed or nipped in the bud then we shall all witness the total collapse of our judicial system.

Under this unfortunate condition, the prospect that people will be compelled to carry out their own brand of justice to make even with those deemed to be unjust is not far.
The pessimist though would say: THE WORST IS YET TO COME.
