Holcim Philippines, the cement company that forms part of the Holcim global network, is inviting Filipino participants to join the 2010 Holcim Journalism Awards for Sustainable Construction. The competition is being conducted in the media category and student category and offers a total of PhP420,000 in cash prizes.
The Grand Award winner in the media category will receive a cash prize of PhP100,000, a trophy, and a round-trip plane ticket and accommodation for a three-day stay in Singapore to attend the regional ceremonies for the Holcim Awards for Sustainable Construction. The student whose essay is adjudged most outstanding will receive a cash prize of PhP50,000 and a round-trip plane ticket and accommodations for a three-day stay in Singapore to attend the same regional ceremonies.
