The Forum's March 2023 Special of Great Song Performances

Dear Forum Member and Friend,

The Forum is delighted to announce that it has just launched online its March 2023 Special of Great Song Performances that it has featured over the years. Presented is the repertoire of the spellbinding voices and immense talents of the more than 16 world-acclaimed performers.


1. Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballé Duet: “Barcelona” (1988)
    The British rock star and Spanish operatic soprano Montserrat Caballé in a truly spellbinding rendition
     of the theme song of the 1992 Summer Olympics in Spain.
2. Freddie Mercury and the English rock band Queen perform "Bohemian Rhapsody" (1985)
    Their spectacular Live Aids open-air performance at the Wembley Stadium in London.
3. Charlotte Church-Josh Groban Concert Duet: “The Prayer” (2002)
    Stirringly magnificent live-concert performance of the song by the young Welsh singer, then only     
    16, along with the American singer Josh Groban, then only 21, in Cardiff, Wales, UK.
4. Charice Pempengco with the Canadian Tenors: “The Prayer” (2010)
    The young Filipino singer, then only 19, performs with the Canadian Tenors in a CBC concert special.   
5. Matt Harding-Melissa Nixon: “Trip the Light with the World” (2012)
    The American husband-and-wife duo trip the light all over the world to sing and dance a message of   
    joy, peace, and unity among all nations.
6. Shirley Bassey in Live Concert, “With One Look” (1998), and Stage Performances of that Song
    by Glenn Close and Elaine Page
   
7. Swedish Actress Rebecca Ferguson Lip-Syncs American Singer Loren Allred, "Never Enough"
    (2021) for the 2018 film “The Greatest Showman.”
