Badly Written, Badly Spoken / Should that sentence require the present tense or the past tense?

Hi sir Jose!

Good day! 

I would just like to ask about the kind of tense that should be used when one is discussing his/her working experiences to an interviewer.

e.g.

     I have experience in bartending or I had experience in bartending?

My understanding is if you are narrating your personal experiences, then the tense that should be used is in the past tense.However, in the scenario above, I'm thinking of using, "I have experience in bartending" instead of "I had experience in bartending" for the reason that I am thinking of my skill as still existing or is still true at the moment of speaking. For me, it gives a feeling of assurance to the interviewer that whoever says "I have experience in bartending or I have bartending experience still possesses that skill.

Please do give me feedback on this.

Use and Misuse / Uses and Meanings of Would in the present tense

Hi Sir. I know you already answered some of the questions raised by the other members of this forum regarding the uses of would. I would just like to request if you could possibly give us a more detailed explanation of the uses of would in the present tense. Could you please provide us with a more detailed example and a corresponding explanation for such usage. Thanks! 

Here are some of the examples that we may begin with in analyzing.

The preposition that would yield the correct sense is, of course, “from among,” meaning that the “one or two people” specified in the sentence belongs to the totality of all the people visiting hospitals.

I would like to introduce myself.

Would that be ok?

At any rate, here, from Jim Wegryn’s “A Barrelful of Words,” are some other collective nouns that would make sense.

How is would used in the sentences above?

Should I commit grammatical mistakes on my post here, please do not hesitate to correct me. I'm more than willing to be corrected.And, this is what I am for here. =)

I'm Mike from Makati. I am a graduate of BSED English from John Paul College.
I was browsing the net when I came across this site. I really find this site helpful especially
