In your example for "Not," you wrote, "Most think that going to Baguio City this time of year is great; not me."

During my first year of teaching over 40 years ago, a very proper older teacher corrected me on something similar saying my response should have been "Not I." Would you set me straight on why "Not me" in your example is correct, please?  Thanks.

Recently, I received an email ad for a beauty product line from a local, highly-respected spa.  Readers were told they could receive a (brand-name) item "free with any perches."  After great astonishment - bordering on embarrassment for my friend - and much laughter, I phoned the owner and suggested that a spell-check might be in order.  She was embarrassed - and appreciative.  Next day, a new, improved version arrived!    [/i]
