Re "Park Facing the Wall" sign.  This has technical reasons:  1)  When parking towards the wall, the driver can gauge the distance up to the wall, thus, avoiding crashing into it. 2) When moving out, the exhaust of the vehicle is away from the wall, thus, avoiding "blackening" the wall which will need cleaning up (added expense for the mall owner).
Drivers do not park facing the wall because it is easier to move out of the slot when they can see the traffic in front of them.  For safety reason.
