I don't know if I was successful in posting the picture here. But nevertheless I could quote it for everbody to read.
" Your wife doesn't understand you because she's from the Philippines. Teach her some English."
I found this at Linguistic Cartoon while scanning some pictures www.CartoonStock.com to be exact. Whoever did this, obviously knew little about the Philippines. :-\
This is is a quite a sweeping statement.

I visited the site where I first saw the picture I was telling you. I wanted to provide the link once again. But to my dismay its no longer. there :'(
Maybe whoever placed it there in the first place realized how misleading the statement was.
Anyway, I just wanted to share with everyone one site which I believe would be very helpful to students and professionals alike. This a wonderful site for people who would like to improve their writing skills while developing an understanding of readers' perception and acceptance of a written material. Hope you find this interesting as I did.
