Informative Speech Ideas (http://speechpaths.com/topics.php)

Can be found everywhere… Think of a place you love to go to, or have always dreamt of going to see – research it and present it in a speech of description.

 

What about a concept or process you are interested in, how does something work. Maybe it is a product or service you use all the time, or maybe it is something you have always been curious about. All you have to do is research and present a speech (http://zimmer.csufresno.edu/~lcarvalho/informideas.htm) of explanation then we will all learn.

 

Look through the following list of ideas. Use one of these or come up with your own. Some of these topics work better as description speeches, and some work better as explanation speeches. At times a topic can be developed for either format. So get creative, do good research and inform the class on something new and exciting.
