Hi Jose,

First, thank you for your great site on English proficiency.  Like you, I manage a forum for the same subject at www.aiepro.org.  It will be great to visit this site often so that I can have many more ideas to help my students or clients.

Second, I have one of your books, English Plain and Simple.  I haven't finished it yet.  I believe my colleague, Neysa, has already contacted you about it.

Finally, I would like to discuss your topic here on these standardized tests, namely TOEFL and IELTS.  It is my understanding that the four most commonly measured areas of English-proficiency are speaking, listening, writing, and reading.  To measure these key areas, examiners will focus on vocabulary, grammar, syntax, structure, and content.

Thank you for this wonderful site.  I look forward to visiting often to get new ideas.  It would be great to meet with you someday as well.
