« on: June 02, 2014, 03:22:15 PM »
Should I have used correctly instead in the following sentence?

If I had assumed right, please let me interview you through email.

Yes, you should have used "correctly" instead of "right" in that sentence so it will read as follows:

"If I had assumed correctly, please let me interview you through email."

By using "right," you conveyed the sense that the word is being used as a noun to denote location or direction to the right side, not as an adverb in the sense of "in a suitable, proper, or desired manner."
