A lot of people have gotten used to using the term “mental telepathy” for the supposed ability of certain persons to communicate from one mind to another by extrasensory means, but just the word “telepathy” is enough. The word “mental” in the term “mental telepathy” is actually a redundancy, for it can be eliminated from the term without loss of essential information.
