Title: vocabulary questions
Post by: Kal on August 02, 2016, 10:11:58 AM
Hello Jose,

This is a vocabulary question. There is the word "early". There is the word "late". Is there a one-word word for "on time"?

Here is another question,  can you help explain the differences between "street", "terrace", "lane", "avenue", "court", "place", "drive", and others as well?

The one-word adjective corresponding to "on time" is "prompt."

As to your other question, the much better and more instructive way to differentiate those seven words you have enumerated is to check their definitions in your dictionary. Go for it now.
