arguably, the posting misuses 'continuously' as in improving English.  i think 'continually' is what is indicated.  continuous, tho this is not 100% absolute, means u r doing nothing else.  'continually' improving english would imply that one improves it when it's relevant.  one continuously drives carefully. one continually keeps in mind the need to improve grammar. 
  in 2008 hillary clinton made 2 bloopers in one sentence.  i cited her comment to FVR, who replied, '2 mistakes.'
