Title: Bacteria that glow green in the presence of explosives
Post by: Joe Carillo on November 16, 2009, 08:33:00 PM
Forum member Hill Roberts in Spain requested me to post this very interesting item about bacteria that glow green in the presence of explosives. As reported by the Telegraph UK, British scientists believe it could provide a cheap and safe way to find hidden landmines.

Hill made the following comment about the phenomenon: "Perhaps, this is one way of answering my prayers, Joe? Fantastic innovation indeed."

My reply to her: "As always, nature is the most fantastic but quietest innovator of them all. Think of the whole story of the evolution of plant and animal life in the planet! It's so unimaginably fantastic it's almost incredible!"

Forum members, please read the story by clicking the link below and tell us what you think of this enigma!
