The British evolutionary biologist Richard Dawkins may be a celebrated atheist but a fellow British academic, the political philosopher and self-professed agnostic John Gray, bashes Dawkins' brand of atheism as “its own kind of narrow religion” and Dawkins himself as "decidedly old-fashioned" and “a monument to unthinking certitude.”
