Get inspiration from these 33 nuggets of homespun wisdom from the late U.S. radio-TV writer Andy Rooney (1919 – 2011). The collection was posted by Forum member Justine Aragones way back on June 19, 2011, just a little over four months before Rooney’s passing.

Andrew Aitken “Andy” Rooney (1919 – 2011) was an American radio and television writer best known for his weekly broadcast "A Few Minutes with Andy Rooney," a part of the CBS News program 60 Minutes from 1978 to 2011.

This collection of Rooney’s inspirationals was posted by Forum member Justine Aragones on June 19, 2011, just a little over four months before Rooney’s passing, and has been among the most visited Forum pages ever since. The accompanying thematic images are recent additions culled by the Forum moderator from various sources.

No excuses for me.

I missed this when it was first posted. They are simple yet profound bits of learning. Andy Rooney reminds me of Og Mandino and his wonderful inspirational books.

I have read this twice in a row today wondering what would happen if one took those quotations to heart and embed them in one's mind for the next 30 days. No excuses.

Nothing to lose.
